Séquence 17 — Smith Magenis Suisse, an association project dedicated to Smith-Magenis Syndrome and based in Geneva. The site is built and maintained for the association by Supersolid.

Data protection
Swiss data protection law (nLPD, in force since 1 September 2023) and the GDPR both apply to this site. The short version is that there is very little to protect, by design.
- There are no accounts, no forms, no comments and no cookies. Nothing you do here is stored against you, because there is nowhere to store it.
- Aggregate page-view statistics are collected through Vercel Analytics. Vercel says Web Analytics stores anonymized data, does not use cookies, and identifies visitors by a request hash that resets after 24 hours. We can see that a page was read; we cannot see who read it.
- If that ever changes — a forum, a contact form, or the family-to-helper platform — it will be announced here before it is built, with what is collected, why, and for how long.
What this site is not
It is educational. It is not a diagnosis, not a dose, and not individual medical advice. It does not promote, recommend or supply any medicine; medicines are named only as published regulatory or scientific fact. Suspected Smith-Magenis Syndrome should be assessed by a qualified clinician and confirmed genetically.
Sources and corrections
Clinical, statistical and perishable factual claims on this site name the source they came from. If you find something wrong, tell the association — errors here matter because families may act on them.
